This lesson is part two of a boogie woogie series, which is designed to help students learn four different boogie woogie right-hand riffs and two different baselines. The lesson focuses on the distinction between straight and swung eighth notes and how to use a metronome to master them. By the end of the lesson, you will have eight different combinations to play, including New Orleans style Bugaloo boogie woogie and traditional swung eighth note boogie woogie. The riffs will gradually become more challenging, but by the end, you will be able to play eight completely different choruses of Boogie Woogie.
